Fire Station 80, Pendleton

This urban fire station, located in the heart of historic Pendleton, holds a combination of 10 single- and double-stack apparatus bays. Employing materials familiar to the historic building community, the bays are articulated to create massing and detail responsive to its city block setting. A broad arch announces the entry, and decorative flag mounts provide a civic presence. The facility also homes the department’s antique parade engine in an 11th bay in the historic corner of the restored main street façade.
