Located on the bank of the Eel River in North Manchester, Indiana, this headquarters for one of the country’s largest egg producers provides collaborative workspaces and operational support areas for this sixth-generation company. Strategically placed windows, interior glazing and clerestories harvest daylight, washing it over the naturally finished Douglas fir wood trusses and ceiling planks above the open office. The interiors are appointed with a palette of sustainable finishes including the textured wood wall cladding of the café, which serves as the communal gathering space for the company. Collaborative areas and the company break room create informal work and meeting spaces while capturing views of the river through floor to ceiling windows.
